A while back, a buddy friend of mine asked if I could put together a logo for his new website. I admit, the concept that came to my mind was was embarrassingly lame. In fact, I’ll be honest. I often have difficulties conceptualizing my own projects and often look for inspiration elsewhere to help me along the path. So… I failed him.
Next, I put the task to my daughter who is an aspiring artist and photographer. She also had a bit of trouble thinking outside of the box. Lucky for my friend, he had a back up plan. 🙂 He hired someone with experience and know-how. The end result is pretty nice, I have to admit.
Squirrel! As odd as it may seem, I’ve never considered turning the word “the” vertically. I’ve often struggled with finding something to do with that useless word. 🙂 I can’t wait to use it in a cover art design.
